Parylene-coated neodymium (NdFeB) magnets offer superior rust resistance compared to epoxy, spray, dip, and other coating methods. The thickness of the parylene coating can be adjusted from 1 μm to 50 μm, providing flexibility within this range. Thanks to the efficient vapor operation in a vacuum, a flawless, pinhole-free film is formed, allowing precise control of the film's thickness for waterproof neodymium magnets.
We understand that rare earth magnet products also require moisture, mold, and corrosion resistance treatment. Currently, the main method involves applying electrophoretic epoxy resin coating. However, when the product size is small, using electrophoretic epoxy resin coating becomes challenging, with low production efficiency and poor consistency. The use of poly(p-xylylene) coating can address these challenges, providing excellent protective performance in addition to resolving difficulties encountered with electrophoretic epoxy resin coating, especially for smaller-sized products.
