Steel housed NdFeB (neodymium) magnets are called neodymium pot/cup magnets, due to the magnetic solutions provided by steel housed neodymium magnets, they are also known as neodymium clamping magnets, neodymium mounting magnets, and neodymium magnetic holders. The steel house not only protects the inside magnet but also guides the magnetic line of force of the magnet to one side, which greatly enlarges the magnetic force. Covered with steel houses, different designs for fastening become to be possible. For example, internally threaded bushing and external threaded mounting studs can be made on the top of a steel house. This one is flat type neodymium shallow pot/cup magnet with a threaded screw socket in the center. The surface treatment choice includes zinc plating, nickel plating, and plastic spraying, which have strong anti-corrosion performance.

The flat steel housed neodymium magnets with threaded mounting holes can be used for magnetic clamping of ceiling, signs, banners, The flat (NdFeB) neodymium cup magnets with threaded screw socket offers a magnetic mounting solution of fixtures and lighting exhibition equipment. The big flat neodymium pot magnets with threaded mounting holes can be used as strong salvage magnets after being assembled with bolts. The flat steel housed neodymium magnets with threaded through holes provide magnetic bases for strong magnetic hooks and provide magnetic hanging solutions.

We provide some standard size and magnetic force selection for the neodymium flat pot (cup) magnets with threaded through-hole, if there is no one that can be used for you, then please contact us for customizing flat neodymium cup magnets with threaded mounting hole, or choose our flat pot magnets of ferrite/ceramic.
The magnetic pull force was measured on a 10 mm thick polished steel plate at room temperature. In special cases, the maximum deviation maybe - 10%. Generally, it usually exceeds the value. Small scratches and breakage in the magnetic material do not affect the pull force of the whole flat neodymium cup magnet. Depending on the type of application (installation, temperature, thickness of the object being sucked), the pull force is greatly affected. So the force value is only for reference, not as a standard to measure the quality of flat neodymium pot magnets.
As a professional neodymium magnet manufacturer, in addition to standard sizes, we also offer custom solutions for flat neodymium cup magnets threaded through the mounting holes.
